Thoughts
Greetings, welcome to my personal garden! Here, I store notable memories, concepts that once flew through my mind, statements about the world we live in and sometimes even simple life updates. Maybe it isn't much, but it is honest, and that's what matters.
Got the game somehow working

Hi there, Christmas is now over, and 2024 is around the corner. These few days, if not even the whole year have passed very quickly, unfortunately. How's life going?
I did some work on the game, now called Paper Arcade!
As you can see, this is still a prototype. The game lacks multiplayer, which is the next thing I'm going to be working on. However, I've already implemented several menu elements, including the IP input box. This one took me an hour, haha. Also, if you want to test it out, you can download the showcased build here.
Features in v0.1.0
- Added the main menu along with the connect screen,
- Press [ SPACE ] to summon a random card,
- Press [ P ] to summon a few cards,
- Press [ R ] to make all cards disappear,
- You can add your own cards to the game simply by pasting some .pngs into the 'cards' folder.
Known bugs
- There is an error when you try to quit the game using the X button (ignore it),
- If you want your game to run properly, make sure to include at least one file inside the 'cards' directory.
Please keep in mind that this is a very early build, so I'll only upload it for Windows, as it is my current OS. But hold on - you will be able to download universal build and source soon.
A playing-cards game prototype

Hello there, everyone, and welcome to the first post on my blog thing. Hope you like it.
I got an idea for a game recently, finally my mind decided to be creative, unbelievable! I wanted to make a multiplayer game, where users could interact with playing cards. One person hosts a server, others join and then start a call on Discord and play their favourite card games.
I've made this prototype which shows how I'd like to see the game - every player can interact with a card at the same time. I think of this as more of a game for friends and relatives rather than random strangers met online.
As you can see, you can move, hide and show cards right now. I am planning to add more features, for example some pawns indicating something, integer counters, so you could play with "money", and many more. I also plan to make a library for making mods for this, that would change the looks of the cards or add run some scripts when you do something, like summoning cards (at the end of the clip).
Since this is a very early prototype, multiplayer isn't implemented yet. In fact, this is nothing now. Oh, and it is made with Pygame.
